The City of Ranson is accepting applications for two (2) Board of Parks and Recreation Commission: one full six-year term beginning July 2026 and ending June 30, 2032, and one vacant partial term to be filled ending December 31, 2028. The board provides control and oversight of the properties and activities operated in connection with the Ranson public parks and recreation system. To qualify, applicants must be a resident of the City of Ranson and a freeholder of the city.
Interested residents of Ranson who meet the eligibility requirements and wish to serve on the board are encouraged to submit an application, which is available at www.ransonwv.gov under the Forms and Documents tab. A hard copy may also be mailed or delivered to the City of Ranson, Attention: City Clerk at 312 S Mildred Street, Ranson, WV 25438, or email cityclerk@ransonwv.us.
