WVU Medicine has notified the City of Ranson of an upcoming gate access change related to construction at Jefferson Medical Center.
Beginning Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the gate on E. 4th Avenue off Lancaster Circle will be closed for the duration of the Jefferson Medical Center Ambulatory Expansion construction project.
Emergency vehicles will continue to have access to the facility via E. 3rd Avenue, which is already a commonly used route for emergency response.
This closure will remain in effect for the duration of the construction operation.
